On 4 January 2012 the Jansatyagrah Samvad Yatra team was invited for a dialogue by Dr Raman Singh, C.M. of Chattisgarh. On behalf of the team Shri P.V. Rajgopal, President of Ekta Praisahd, Shri Ramesh Sharma, Coordinator of the Jansatyagrah Samvad Yatra, Shri Prashant Kumar, Regional Coordinator of Ekta Parishad, Shri Hembhai, Shrimati Rajkali Patel, Shri Sitaram Sonwani, Shri Ravi Badri and Anish Bhai participated in the meeting. Responding to the issues, placed before him by Shri P.V. Rajgopal, Dr Raman Singh agreed that rights records that have been given to people under the Forest Rights Act will have to be converted into ownership records/titles through an organised campaign. He requested the associates and supporters of „Ekta Parishad‟ to become partners in the process for peace and development in the state of Chattisgarh.
„Kisan Sangharsh Morcha‟ gave an assurance of their participation in the Jansatyagrah 2012. The last halt in Raipur district was at Rajim where a meeting was organised by the social organization „Prerak‟. Shri Ramgulal Sinha of „Prerak‟ said that the organization is working on the issues of education and employment opportunities for the blind and disabled people in the region.
